DescriptionRug presumably from Turkmenistan based on Yomut Turkmen attribution. The main field features a lattice design (“asmalyk”) that is commonly found in dowry weavings of the Yomut. No primary border. Reciprocal trefoil or Laleh Abbasi (“Abbasi tulip”) and barber pole minor borders. Striped plain woven kilim on both ends.
