DescriptionWoman’s wrapper woven on a man’s horizontal loom in strips of approximately 4.125” width; fifteen strips are sewn together edge to edge to form this wrapper. Aso-oke cloth in which a pattern is formed with two maroon strips, followed by one maroon/white/tan strip, followed in turn by two tan strips. This pattern is repeated three times. All of the strips contain open workholes accented by white weft threads. Hemmed.
