DescriptionAdire Oniko indigo resist-dyed cloth. Two lengths of commercially woven cotton joined in the center and dyed with a pattern of circles on the borders and outlined squares enclosing two alternating patterns, one with three vertical elements and the other consisting of a single vertical with six short diagonal forms on the sides. Resist-dyed cloth, these pieces were gathered, stitched with raffia thread around the folds, then dyed in indigo.
