DescriptionPair of heavy brass (copper alloy) armlets, cast by the lost-wax process. Each is ornamented on the outside surface and one edge. The designs consist of geometric patterns, including hatched triangles, circled crosses, plain crosses, series of short lines floral designs based on pointed ovals with a central circle, and a “windmill” pattern based on alternating plain and hatched triangles arranged around a central circle. The slightly flanged edges of each bracelet are decorated with a border consisting of three lines and crosshatched lines that produce small diamond shapes.
