DescriptionMud cloth composed of eight hand woven strips, each 5” wide, hand sewn together. Small fringe on top and bottom. Alternating pattern of squares filled with cross-crossed lines and squares divided into four smaller squares each segmented with an X forming a large diamond, with occasional exceptions in which the patterns do not alternate but appear next to and above one another. One end of the textile has a border of rectangles hatched with diagonal lines.
