DescriptionLarge hand-coiled, pinched, and sponge textured pot of white clay in traditional form with eight castellations. There are hatched triangles around the neck. Impressed circles in the castellations and the bottom border of the collar. Small punctate design around upper border. Primary ornamentation is the relief effigy of a male face and hand based on a portrait of Cornplanter. He wears a feather headdress and earrings and holds a traditional pipe in his hands.
