DescriptionSilvered brass hand-held cross in ‘Lalibela’ style, with angel head and wings on one side of the finial, and an X-form on the other side. At the top, the central cross is enclosed in a pear-shaped frame with twelve circular points, representing the twelve apostles, extending around the edge. At the side and bottom of the frame are bird-like heads, with open eyes, that actually represent wings.
