DescriptionTree with heads. A branching tree forms the central vertical line of the canvas. An animal dominates the treetop, and humans and animals branch off from the tree limbs. Black chains cross the middle of the tree and a crucifix with a loose chain hangs from the bottom of the tree. The tree represents the Potomitan, or central pole in a Vodou temple, which allows the loa entry to the ceremony.
