DescriptionMola panel with three fabric layers in maroon, black and brown to create the complex reverse appliqué and appliqué images of two white-faced monkeys hanging from branches of a fruit-bearing tree. Their bodies are ornamented with reverse appliqué dots and appliqué concentric circles. The background is filled with multicolored reverse appliqué and appliqué X designs within black rectangles. Extensive chain and running stitch embroidery throughout.
