DescriptionAxsu, woman’s overskirt. Winged horses and birds are the primary designs. Llamas and viscachas (South American rodents) appear in the narrower bands. Llamas also appear in the border together with rayed diamonds and horizontal forms (banners?) as well as winged horses.The artist wove her name 3X as Damiana Vela Quispé and twice as Damiana Vela, although each has backward or missing letters. Yellow tubing on three sides with pink and green dashes.
