DescriptionCommercially made doll representing a Cheyenne girl, that was made as part of the U.S. Postal Service American Dolls Series. The doll is an adaptation of an original 1938 doll created by a Cheyenne Indian in Oklahoma and now in the collection of the Strong Museum in Rochester. The doll represents a girl with two braids wearing fringed dress with beading.
