DescriptionFemale doll in typical Apache cradleboard made with a hoop of wood to which flat slats are attached, the whole covered in yellow fabric and trimmed with braid. Handmade doll of cloth with stitched facial features; black yarn hair with yellow, green and red yarn braided in; thin buckskin fringed dress, jacket & belt with bead trim. Doll is secured in the cradleboard with thick black thread. The cradleboard has three surviving strands of beads hanging from the canopy.
