DescriptionOne of a pair of mola panels (with NLA2012.06) with three fabric layers in maroon, black and orange that create reverse appliqué outlines of a hen and chick and their floral and leafy environment. The body of the hen is filled with multicolor appliqué spots and feathers. The features of the chick are embroidered, as are the flowers. Multicolored appliqué V shapes appear throughout the background.
