DescriptionChumpi, hand woven, warp-faced belt or sash. Designs representing the Sun God (Inti), birds, and horses along with geometric forms to ward off malevolent energies. Has two end ties, hand woven at one end and braided at the other. Central warp colors are deep red, light red-orange, and green with white designs; opposite color scheme on the reverse. Outer border has alternating blocks of pink and blue.
