DescriptionAwayo (awayu) woman’s hand woven, warp-faced mantle or utility cloth. Solid blue field. The central band was woven separately from the two halves of the awayo. The central band has unusual fish designs, florals, and geometrics. There is complicated edge tubing around the border.
