DescriptionHuipil (woman’s traditional blouse) from San Jaspar Chajul, Guatemala. Two panels of medium blue warp with few thin dark blue, orange, magenta, green and yellow stripes. Principle design is a variant of a double headed eagle twice on front and back, and flanked on the each side with another double headed creature. Geometric patterns on the shoulders and upper chest.
