DescriptionHorizontal banner in black cloth with hand cut and stitched appliqués, dominated by a large colorful peacock and other symbols of a Dahomean king: two darts, a bull, a vessel or drum, a mortar and pestle and a wood working instrument. Bright colors used are red, blue, green, orange, white and black. There is a narrow red border appliqué on each side of the banner.
