DescriptionSimple gameboard, in a stool-like form with a rectangular platform. Hole at top and hollow interior for the storage of game pieces (not present). Raised element between the six cups on each side. This type of seed capture game is played widely in Africa and is conventionally known among anthropologists by the term mancala.
