DescriptionInuit mother and child doll, both with black yarn hair and embroidered faces. The mother wears blue pants and a rabbit fur-trimmed red “packing parka” (this one is the ukurmiutaq type) in which the baby is carried in the large hood. The embroidered parka, pants, mittens and mukluks are made from wood cloth, all removable. The baby wears a little calico dress or nightgown and removable blue mukluks, and both mother and child wear removable knit caps.
