DescriptionLidded basket made with green-dyed splints, natural splints, and sweet grass. Row of green-dyed porcupine splint twists along the bottom of the basket, two rows of green splints with dashed effect created by X’s of braided sweet grass which is repeated in one row on the lid, several rows of braided sweet grass on body of basket. Lid has braided sweet grass along the bottom edge, and plain sweet grass near center, with a sweet grass braid making a handle.
