DescriptionMola panel with three fabric layers in maroon, black, and white that create a scene of two women cooking and a seated man watching. The faces and limbs are solid tan fabric; the women’s clothing is mostly print fabrics; and the man’s clothing, pots, stands and gourds are solid fabrics with extensive embroidery, which also represents the woman’s jewelry. Additional appliqué and reverse appliqué fabrics create multicolored concentric triangles throughout the background.
