DescriptionA small village, with entrance fronted by a wooden rail gate. Two small houses in the foreground have thatched roofs and brightly painted windows and doors. Men and women work in gardens and fields, the paths to which meander up the hillside and into the mid-ground of the painting. Large palm trees grow near the houses and on the small green hills in the background.
