DescriptionMan’s bark belt (titi ba’e) with finely incised ornamentation consisting of several abstract faces created with opposing “S” form borders. Mouths are often serrated elements within rectangles. Natural wood provides a dark color, in-filled with white, and bordered with red ochre. Four holes at one end, two pairs of holes about 6 inches and one pair at 9 inches from the other end. Fiber cordage remains attached to one end.
