DescriptionOmeshi kimono with a black paterned silk exterior and a lining of mixed bright and dark red silks with a pink cotton inner collar. The kimono fabric is jacquard-woven with supplementary weft designs in red silk and gold and silver metallic threads. This technique is called nuitori shishu and looks very much like embroidery. The scalloped designs are rayed.
